So I've been encouraged by a lot of people to start blogging. I do my fair share of commentary with certain friends on Facebook and decided that a blog would be an equally viable medium to sow my oats of knowledge...


You should know a little bit about myself before I start, I suppose... I'm a first generation Sudanese-American (with Egyptian roots), a 39 year old female of color, single and have no kids (kind of an anomaly for someone of my background)..... a college graduate with a Master's degree in Graphic Design, I even had a cumulative GPA of 3.9—It was not a game, and I'm especially proud of this fact given my previous track record in school. So children, good grades are so very important and will make a world of difference the sooner you start to do well in school, trust....


A few things I'm passionate about include revolution, social consciousness, history, politics, music, design/art, British men of West African decent, a free Palestine, vanilla milkshakes and hamburgers, violent movies, and big dogs (the little ones aren't chill enough for me), very intellectual men, activists, movie posters that make political statements, fashion and style, traveling, social networking.... the list goes on, you'll find out more once I start dropping gems so pay close attention and enjoy!!
