Wildcard Weekend 2012 (Part 1)

Saturday line up:
Cincinnati Bengals (9-7) at Houston Texans (10-6)
Both of these teams have lost their last three games (Cincy to the Ravens and Steelers, both teams have the second best record in the AFC North) (Houston lost to Carolina, Indianapolis, and Tennessee). This is Houston's first playoff, but I have to go with the Bengals to win this one. Indianapolis has the worst record in the NFL this year, right? Cincy lost their last few games to better teams.

Detroit Lions (10-6) at New Orleans Saints (13-3)
This is the match-up I'm excited to see. Calvin Johnson also passed for 5,000+ yards this season, and was the leader in receiving yards, but their defense will have to be very strong. The Saints have won their last 8 games, and Drew Brees broke Marino's 33 year single season passing record. They were 8-0 at home this year and their offense is solid, but their defense is not so hot, which is exactly why this will be such an interesting match-up. Maybe the Lions will exact revenge for their loss earlier this season—we'll see tonight at 8PM EST.
